Mercado Trinh Law LLP Message Re: COVID-19

Despite the COVID-19 pandemic, Mercado Trinh Law LLP continues to operate as usual and have adopted special measures to ensure the safety of our staff and clients. 

Our office is currently closed to the general public.  We encourage communications by telephone, email or video conferencing. We will meet with clients at our office only if they have a scheduled appointment. Walk-ins will not be entertained at this time.

SAFETY PROCEDURES FOR FOR CLIENTS WITH SCHEDULED APPOINTMENTS:

When you arrive at our building – 428 Portage Avenue – take the elevators to the 6th floor.  When you exit the elevators, our office is immediately to the right.  Please knock on the door and we will open the door for you to minimize your exposure to any doorknobs in our office. 

Please rest assured that we wipe down all desks and chairs used by clients after each meeting to ensure that the office is clean and safe for our clients and staff.  Upon entering our offices, we ask everyone to use the hand sanitizer.  During your meeting, you will be provided with a pen to sign any documents.  Please take this pen home with you.  Before leaving our office, we ask that you also use the hand sanitizer.  We also ask that you provide us with any requested documents prior to our meeting by email. 

The Law Society of Manitoba has recommended that all in-person meetings be held to a 10-minute maximum.  We will endeavour to follow these guidelines keeping in mind the type of meeting being conducted, our need to explain documents to you, and answer any of your questions during this meeting.  We ask for your cooperation in this regard.
